Samsung Poor Quality Fridge

I purchased a Samsung double door fridge in September 2010. In December 2013 i discovered that there were two "cavity cracks" in the freezer section. I notified Samsung immediately and they sent out a technician on the 17/12/13 to have a look at the crack. The technician said that the crack cannot be repaired and that the fridge must be replaced. I have been waiting for feedback from Samsung since December last year to let me know the way forward on how they will resolve this problem. I got a call yesterday from one of the managers telling me that i must pay in R7000 towards the new fridge that they want to replace me with, are they crazy. The fridge was obviously manufactured from poor quality material and that is why it is cracking/ splitting apart.
The crack is over 80cm long in my freezer. As a customer i thought that Samsung's products is of a high quality standard. Most of my appliances at home is Samsung. I am very disgusted with the poor customer service i received from Samsung, and how long they take to resolve customer queries and complaints.
I would like Samsung to advise me the way forward regarding my fridge, a quality fridge should last at least 15 -20 years.
