Shoprite
BAD CAKE

I was craving for a cake first went to Pick n Pay to buy it but the store was closed already. I then opted to go to Jabulani and bought it there, when I got home I didn't realise the box was beaten by rats but didn't notice that. I then sliced a few slices for my kids first and by the time I ate the cake I realised it felt in my teeth like it had sand, that's only when I realised that the was a problem with the cake, and it also felt different from the one I had bought at Maponya during the same week for my daughters birthday theirs was so yummy and fresh. The one I bought at Shoprite was still within the right but still wasn't fresh either from the moment I cut it, but continued giving it to the kids and myself because I thought its all in my mind. Therefore I'm not pleased with the experience I had and doubt if I ever want anything to do with the store, especially when it comes to food.
