Pathetic

I ordered a Red Velvet and a Chocolate Cake for my son's 13th birthday 26 June 2013.
I confirmed if the cake will be fresh when I collected the cake on the 26 June 2013 meaning that the cake would be baked 26 June 2013.

I was told that the cakes are baked daily and will be fresh when collected.

I was EXTREMELY DISSAPOINTED when I got home and cut the cake only to discover that the cake must have been a day or so old.

I also bake cake for people and would be extremely embarrassed if I gave someone an old cake when they specifically asked for a cake that was baked the same day they collected the order.

This was a special birthday for my son. I invited people over for cake and tea and I feel embarrassed to have to offer them this old cake.
