Cake Orderd 72 Hours before... Late!!!

I went into Shoprite on Saturday the 16th of March to order a cake for my little girls Birthday at Creche (19th March), Paid up the whole amount and specified that I'd like a Barbie picture on it. I asked for collection at 9, was told collection will start at 11.
On the 9th of March I get there at around 11:35, I'm told that there is no order for that day, when looking into their order books they say my order had been cancelled, and then right there and then say they'll make the cake!!! Forty Minutes down the line I'm given a cake... When I get to my childs creche its after school some kids are already on their way home as their transports have fetched them..
What a dissapointment for me the parent that had everything planned in advance with my what i thought was "RELIABLE" grocery store.
1. The cake i got... if there was no order where was the cake coming from and when was it baked because it was surely not FRESH as stipulated by Shoprite that it will be FRESH.
2. I asked for Barbie on the cake not Pocahantas, Little mermaid and Snow White included, I asked for that on Saturday WHY WAS THAT ALSO NOT DELIVERED WHEN THEY HASTILLY MADE THE CAKE!!!
