Exceptional handling of a complaint

I handed my faulty camera in for repairs at their Rondebosch branch end December, never to be heard from again. Eventually trying to enquire telephonically re my camera I was informed that the branch had closed and my repair was "referred to Tokai branch". At that stage Tokai did not seem to have my repair on system. Rather perturbed, I headed over to Facebook to complain on their page. I was then asked to email my details through. Email sent 3:40, response received at 3:46 (Karen), and phone call from manager (Donna) at 4:10 apologising for the inconvenience. She went on to explain that she had gone to her boss, explained the situation and has organised for my camera to be replaced - not having to wait for old one to come back from repairs. This definitely made my day, as I was hoping to have my camera back in time for my daughter's first school field trip on Thursday. Suffice to say, my home (and that of my family) will stay stocked with products from Hi Fi Corp now and in the future. Never had a problem until this incident, which was handled so professionally and curteously; it has not left any sort of negative impression on me at all!
