NO PRODUCT SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE!

I received and email on the 20/02/13 from Edgars informing me that if I purchased Yardley goods to the value of R300 and more I would get a free gift worth R599.55 - with specific things mentioned. I went to Edgars at The Glen shopping centre and the lady at the cosmetic counter was unaware of the special advertised. She then had to call her manager Godfrey who also did not know about the special and even had the audacity to ask me to print the special and bring it through as they were unaware of anything!!!
How can Edgars advertise and not inform their shops about the specials??? I am very disappointed as the lipsticks that I wanted to purchase were the last of each colour and I had to even ask Godfrey to keep it for me as I would print the special and bring it through.
Very upset and disappointed in such a large store as yourselves!!!
