I bought a ACER laptop with an extended warantee, while I was working on it I heard a strange crackling noise coming from the laptop. the next moment there were a bunch of lines in a form of a spiderweb on the screen and no picture. I called the branch where it was purchased and they instructed me to take it to them. I did so on the 15 December 2012. I called them a number of times during January 2013 and they promise at first that they will call me back which they didnt. or when they hear it is me they hang up the phone. On the 20 Feb 2013 i went there personaly. They then told me the quote for the repair is R1800, I told them I am not going to pay as the laptop is still under guarantee and I did not break it and i need it to be repaired or I want my money back. They still refused to listen to me. This is unacceptable and I expect them to honour the warantee as well as the extended warantee or give me my money back
