I purchased a laptop in 2011 with an extended warranty. in december i took the laptop back to store to replace the charger. i was told it was not covered by the extended warranty. I asked them to show me where it was excluded by the policy and they couldnt. i agreed to send it in. I was told by paul i would get it back mid january, and that i would not pay for the repair. i called the store on the 14th of january, where someone argued with me that i would have topay for the repair. i asked to speak to the manager, he cut me off. i called back, byron said they would request the laptop back from samsung and give me one of the demo chargers they had in the shop. someone would call me back on friday to collect.
I got no call so i called back on monday. i was told that samsung had no chargers in south africa and that my repairs were going to cost R1000. I called back today to speak to the manager, was promised a call in 20 minutes, none came. i called back. after much arguing I have been promised that i can pick up my laptop on thursday. I am skeptical. I hope this report will ensure my laptop is returned and fixed on thursday at 4pm, which is when i will be in store.
