NEVER PURCHASE SELF-ASSEMBLE ITEMS AT GAME!

On the 9th of Feb I purchased a self-assemble TV stand at Game, the Glen. The middle two panels would not fit properly and there was a 4mm gap on both middle panels, causing the outside panels and top panel to not fit. With this we went to The Glen and spoke to Mr. Naidoo, the Manager, and all he had to say is that it is self-assemble and that they never had any returns, and all he could do for me is for me to bring it in and they can see if they can perhaps fix what " WE " have done wrong. So on the Thursday I took it back, and they could not fix it either, and he offered me a R300 voucher. I could not accept this, and left with the TV stand, I then sent another e-mail to Rina Taute, Group Customer Service Advisor for Game, and up to now I have been ignored. R1500 down the drain. My question is this, who is to say that all their products are perfect? Why will they not admit that I am right that there was an error with our TV stand? We have successfully assembled self-assemble furniture in the past. Why would we about it? A R1500 loss will not kill me, but why must we always just roll over and play dead?
