Cashiers play hide-and-seek at Dischem La Lucia

Dischem La Lucia has a staggered line of cashiers, all waiting for customers in the queue. I was the only customer waiting to be assisted. These cashiers hide behind one another, don't make eye contact with the waiting customer, as if to convey 'I don't see you, therefore I can't help you', and don't press their buzzer to call one waiting in the queue. The customer has to pick a cashier and walk up to her and ask to be helped. I've complained to the store manager before and she tells me that this is a recurring problem with the cashiers.
It conveys the message that customers are an irritation to them and they don't care to serve.
This has occurred to me on numerous occasions and I'm frustrated with the bad service.
