False offer in packaging

I bought a Philips shaver in Dischem in January 13. In the packaging cover two special offers were advertised, however the offer details were in the inside of the sealed package: 2 x extra Nivea refill shaving conditioner cans and R150.00 off at Tiger Wheel and Tyre, or approximately R300.00 in overall freebies. Once the package was cut open, it become clear that the two offers had expired (the Nivea in June 2012 and the Tiger in December 12). This is a clear false advertising that the Vendor should or have been aware of. Once I complained I was told (after numerous ignored calls by the assistant manager) that the issue should be taken with Philips, Nivea or Tiger. This is a clear pass the back policy, as I bought the article from Dischem and not from the others. Where is Dischem's quality assurance? Or their Customer care and protection? They are prepared to take the profit, but none of the blame! Shame on them.
