I applied for a home router with Vodacom online, which was approved. However, I struggled to accept the debit mandate until I finally went to accept it at the ATM. Vodacom called me to verify the order and informed me that it had been released for delivery. However, I have followed up with Vodacom more than six times, and every time I was told that the order had not left their warehouse and that they would escalate the matter. Today, I was told the order had been canceled with no valid reason.
I have been using daily data while waiting for my home internet to arrive. No one from Vodacom bothered to send me an update or call to let me know what was going on. Every time I had to call them, there was no assistance at all. I am really disappointed with the poor service I received from Vodacom online.
