@Home deletes wedding registry

I went with my fiance to set-up our wedding registry at @Home in the Waterfront shopping centre in Cape Town. Basheer was the gentleman who initially helped us to set-up the registry, who was knoweable and helpful. We spent 2-3 hours in the store carefully considering our choices for items for our registry we asked Ashley and another girl working with her at the front desk to locate the barcode of a particular towel that we wanted to put on our registry that was out of stock. These 2 shop assistants said they would locate the barcode and add it to the registry and that we didnt need to wait. We also told Basheer we were finished. We did not receive a print out or get a chance to sign/check our registry. Family of ours went to @Home to purchase a gift for us a few days later only to be told there were no items on our registry. I called the waterfront store who told me it must have been deleted, but could not offer any explanation. I left numerous messages for the store manager Maggie who took a few days to get back to me, still offering no help or explanation. She said she would investigate and get back to me the next day-I am still waiting for a call back from her.
