Edcon (Jet) -Information Selling Company?

Edcon (Jet) is reputable company and I think that's what most of us will like to believe.

But this is not true. I am not sure at what price you sell our personal information to all these other companies without our consent.
I am sick and I am tired of getting letters from various companies that I have not dealt with and have no desire to deal with now or in future.
My personal details are incorrect on my Jet account and the very same errors that are on my Jet account details are doing the rounds on various company data bases. Jet whom I have entrusted with my personal details, for some reason is handing out my details to all these other companies and now I receiving letters with the same SPELLING MISTAKE from all these other companies, Coincidence? I think not.

I will be closing that account by latest /01/02/2014 . I have managed this account so well for over 7 years, I close it on account of disgust and I hope you remove from your data base asap.

I never consented for sales of my personal information and I am highly disgusted.
