I wanted to change a jeans I bought (with receipt) for another (more expensive) one. However, the amount I had to pay in was going to be R150 more than I expected due to my original purchase being discounted by R150. Apparently the discount could not be applied/carried over to my new purchase. While that makes sense, I still maintain they could/should have helped me. Afterall I am still paying in for the purchase.

But my BIG issue is this: When I asked to simply change the size of the original jeans that I purchased, meaning, take exactly the same brand, cut as my original purchase but just a smaller size, I was told that I will have to pay the R150 difference, because the discount cannot be applied as the jeans is back to normal price. Even when asking for the store manager, I was told that it is not them, it is the system.
Looks like Edgars is ready to be taking over by Skynet, as they are choosing to remove the human element.

How does this make sense?
So instead of allowing the discount to remain (same article), they chose to lose the entire sale, as I requested my money back. And I will also not shop there, as I rather spend where I am valued as a customer.
