Did not refund me after I returned damaged item

Received cosmetics by courier from Zando and opened immediately. Found cosmetics not packed securely and toner bottle almost empty as contents had leaked out. All packaging and box wet and some damage to paper packaging. Called Zando immediately they said they will collect the the toner and send a replacement. Subsequently received email from them wanting proof of damage (photos) before they were willing to do anything. Decided to return all the cosmetics (still sealed) as this was getting inconvenient and complicated. They refunded me for all the cosmetics except for the toner. Why should I have to pay for goods that was damaged because they did not pack it properly? Is it worth dealing with them if this is their attitude and service?
