Taken for ride about a prize I supposedly won

I entered the beacon promotion and was contacted to be told that I won a prize. All I had to do was to submit a form that was sent to me. I did that and days later was told to submit again. Why should I submit the same thing twice? Another issue is that I was informed that it is a family outing, later I get told that beacon will only cover my expenses & not my family's. What's the purpose of calling it "family fun day"?
