I recently purchased tyres from TWT Witbank and had them fitted etc. The final amount came to over R8000. I had up'ed my swipe limit on my card for this reason. When it came to pay I swiped my card and it went through I then got a sms a while later saying that the mount was declined as it was over my limit. I waited till the Monday afternoon to contact them to get there banking details etc to do a eft as I had not seen the money go off. Hence the waiting period. After I had done the eft on the Tuesday morning I felt better as I had now paid for the work done. Wednesday morning o get a sms to say that the amount was now taken off and that my account was now over drawn. This is after I sent payment. So I have essentially paid twice for the work done. I called the branch on Wednesday and was told if I sent it then they could do the transfer Thursday and will have the money back. This didn't happen I was then told Tuesday by the latest as they don't do transfers on a Friday. I have recorded evidence of the women calling me and confirming it will be in by Tuesday. Its Wednesday afternoon and still zip. I have called and called and still no closer to getting my money back.
