On the 28th of November i purchased a samsung tv from Game Sandton, last week i discovered that the HDMI ports were not working. Today i visited there store and was addressed by Clive who told me upfront that he was not exchanging the TV, he had to send the TV away for assesment . he then instructed the rep to call Samsung who then advised a 7 day assesment period . i explained that i did not want that particular model and requested an exchange for another which he refused. During the encounter Clive was aggressive and raised he's voice to me on multiple occasions, where i had to ask why he was getting aggressive, he responded with " cause you are not listerning to me " only after he called a regional manager did the RM suggest a loan unit while the assesment was ongoing . i was shocked at the way Clive addressed me and he's aggressive attitude during the encounter. At the end i left with my TV and no resolution . i have never been treated with such aggressive behaviour from a retail outlet . it makes one think that the larger retailers and there store mangagers disregard the consumer protect act and use it to their benefit and with zero care for consumer rights.
