Procrastination on refund

I bought a product from takealot which came to me damaged. I am waiting on a refund. They keep on prolonging the process and I am getting fed up with this. They are quick to take your money but very hesitant to give back your money when they supply faulty product. Furthermore this product was a 2010 model and it must have had a previous owner due to the damages to the product. It was advertised as new on the website. Take a lot sent me an email to which I must reply yet at the bottom of the email it stated that it is an automated response and that replies sent to this address will not be answered. I am fed up.
