Blasé, indifferent staff!!!

On 9:1:2014, I visited the store to return an item. I was appalled at the attitude and behaviour of the staff at the tills. There were 3 members of staff manning the tills, 1 female and 2 males. They did not greet the customers or even acknowledge any of us. They continued to talk, giggle and laugh amongst themselves with absolutely no concern for the fact that they are on duty and in the presence of customers. The cashier who served me took really long for the refund and in the midst of it all, he cashed up goods for another customer while I was still being attended to. He did not know the proper till procedures for the refund and a lady called Morgan helped him after telling him that he had done something wrong. He banged the keyboard incessantly. He remained unapologetic and his aloofness and lack of professionalism leaves much to be desired. Clearly the staff need to be trained on professionalism, customer service and on how to do their jobs well. They also need to be taught that comunicating with customers, if there are going to be delays and if there are problems, is essential at all times. Not impressed with the poor service, unprofessionalism and bad attitude!!!
