Poor customer service in Sandton City store

I was in your store at Sandton City at midday today, 19 Oct 2013 to purchase a braai set in a box (silver box) only to be told by one of your staff members whose name I cannot recall that they were "out of stock" - I was horrified as he was not even going to assist me in any other way by offering to make a plan or tell me he would call another store to make enquiries for me. I told him that it was unacceptable. He then went to the back of the store & came out with the item I was enquiring after (R590). When I wanted to pay for the item there were only 2 tills in operation so I was told to go to the other side of the store where there were 3 staff members wrapping presents. I then spoke to the store manager, Lemola & explained the situation to him. He apologised but I told him that the staff needed expert training to deal with serving customers. While I was waiting for the item to be gift wrapped another lady came from the other tills after she had been waiting & then had to wait to be served as well. Out of the 2 tills, only one was operational as she was assisting me. I work long hours and do not have time to chase from store to store or suburb to suburb. Very bad.
