Non Collection of Damaged Goods

I purchased an external hard drive on the 17-10-2013. The item worked once and then never again. My first request for the item to be collected and returned was on the 18-11-2013. I received an email saying collection will happen in 24-48 hours. To this day (almost 2 months later) the item has still not been collected. I have phoned the call centre every week since my initial complaint and all I get is promises but nothing has happened.
