No refund despite item collection

Groupon has displayed TERRIBLE customer service in my recent contact with the company. Having decided to cancel a purchase (within the appropriate time period) I was told that that as the item had been dispatched it would need to be collected by groupon before a refund could be processed.

Upon delivery I contacted groupon regarding the collection and refund. The item was eventually collected by Courier It in the first week of May. I have yet to receive a refund to my credit card despite collection of the item!! When emailing Groupon they do not respond other than a generic response. When I last called I was told that the wrong collection process was performed and the consultant promised to get back to me. This has not happened yet. I was also told that my request was being processed by the accounts department and would take a short while (almost a month ago).

The last email received was on 19/5 where I was told "We haven't found a solution to your case yet, but we hope to have something for you very soon." (Despite groupon having already desptched a courier vehicle to collect the item).

This is completely unacceptable service. I plan to proceed with legal action in this matte
