I posted an item by registered mail. According to the Track and Trace facility the item was collected from the designated Post Office. On enquiry I discovered that the addressee had never received a collection notice from SAPO and had not collected the item himself. The item was collected by a person who was not the addressee. On querying this with Customer Care, I received an apathetic response from Francinah Madzivhani to the effect that the article had been collected. She had obviously not even read my email. She has also not even bothered to respond to my further communications. I have been requesting details about the person who presented his/her ID to collect the item. It would seem as though someone from the Post Office allowed an unathorised person to take my package which contained a watch. So much for secure services and SAPOI responding to and corruption!!
