I received a defective item on 02/01/2014 and immediately contacted the Kalahari call centre to request that the item be returned. The agent was unable to assist me and requested that I log the return myself, which I did. I spoke to 5 consultants after the 2nd who kept telling me that the request was sent to the couriers and they could not tell me how long it would take for the item to be collected. After 2 weeks of following up and a lot of frustration and empty promises to be called back, Ricardo calmed me down and informed me that Kalahari would not collect the item, they would credit my account. It was so refreshing to speak to someone who knew what the procedures are instead of just saying they can't help and leaving it at that.
I called in again on 23/01/2014 to see how far the refund was and spoke to a very helpful and professional agent named Candice Brown. She took me through step by step to arrange for the refund to be paid to my account.
The two agents mentioned here are assets to Kalahari and they are an example of what good customer service should be, there should be more people like them working for Kalahari.
