My husband and his son went to purchase a kindle cover for me for my birthday. I opened my present 2 days after purchase and was so happy that I tore the packaging only to find that the cover is not the correct one. I told my husband and he said that they battled to get someone to help them and when they did the sales consultant assured them it was the correct cover for the kindle paper white, which is not the case. Today, I go to the shop with the slip to do the return/exchange and get told they have to charge me a 15% handling fee!! That is daylight! It's disgusting that in this day and age these companies get away with this! I will be checking what the consumer protection act says regarding this handling fee! I have looked at my slip and no where does it make mention of a handling fee!
