Received Russell Hobbs All Floors 2000w for Xmas. My husband bought it on 16 Dec (19 days ago) and I opened it on Xmas Day which means I received it 10 days ago. I have used it 3 times since. Now the power switch is faulty & it wont turn on. Returned it today (with invoice) & I'm told it is out of the 14 days 'Peace of Mind Policy' & it has to be sent in for repair which can take 4 - 6 weeks & suppliers dont open until next week so there will be a backlog. Surely over Xmas you know people will only open presents on Xmas Day and not on the day they bought the item! Dealt with Bathabile in returns who stood their chewing bubblegum while serving me & didnt give a hoot that I wasnt happy. Asked if she could give me a loan machine as I wont have a machine until February - answer NO - just wait until repair is done. Then go into store & teller at multimedia 'helps' me but during the entire transaction doesnt say one word to me - not a good morning, not a please input your pin (just pushes machine to me), no thank you, have a nice day-nothing! I bought all my kids Xmas presents from Makro & will not be supporting Makro again. PATHETIC SERVICE, PATHETIC STAFF, PATHETIC RETURNS POLICY!
