We bought 2 x Petrol lawnmowers @ Makro Nelspruit. We bought it SEPT/OCT 2012. In the beginning of Dec 2012 the one machine broke, and we took it back on the 11th of Dec. We asked for our money back, and they said that they need to send it for repairs. After one month, they phone us, and give us a quote of R1200 to repair. I phone them asking them why do we have to pay, if the machine is still under guarantee.. I also told them that the other machine that we also bought by them is broken too. We stay 100km from the Makro store, we can not ride up and down.. The guy at Makro Nelspruit told me that he will find out why we have to pay, and then he will phone me.. One week after our conversation, we still haven't heard from the.. I then phone the Customer Care of makro, and also send a email. They put me through to the Nelspruit branch again, i asked the guy, what is going on we still haven't heard from them. He told me that he will quickly phone Conway and then let me know. Two weeks has passed now, and still no word from them. I send another email to them on their website.. But NO response up untill today...!!!
