Stuck computer systems resulting in double payment

21st December, swipe card at cashier and.waited for till slip. Computer system stuck resulting in no till slip printed. Cashier informs me that she has to do the transaction again, after I already told her that the money has already gone off my bank account. She insist and tells me that a reversal will be done because the payment is frm the same card reader. Fool I was, I let her do it again. Money now twice from my account.
Almost twee weeks later and several phone calls, I have still not received any payment back into my account. I am always told that the admin account is busy with the reversal. How long does it actually take to do a reversal? Why does the customer have to suffer, go through Christmas and New Year with a couple thousand rands less, because their computer systems failed...
