20 November - 10-year old son writes to Santa Claus requesting a R1000 Furby
25 November - placed order for R1000 toy for my precious son. Money taken from my account immediately
25 November - confirmation received, promised delivery by 5 December
06 December - Changed date of delivery to 12 December. Retailers still have some stock, but stuck it out
12 December - No delivery
13 December - No stock at retailers anymore, phone Kalahari call centre, left message, no reply
19 December - Now in a panic. Phone call centre, wait for human being, very sweet, but powerless
20 December - Get standard email stating that my R1000 present will not be delivered. Apology pathetic.
20 December - Write back to them, specifically stating they must still deliver, albeit later
25 December - Give my son a letter from Santa explaining that he will return later to bring Furby
27 December - Eventually get a response but only after Tweeting
27 December - Get onto website, only to discover that they have unilaterally cancelled my order even though I have specifically asked them NOT to do so.

Call centre refuses to give me a postal address so I can write to new CEO. Tell me that supplier won't supply.
