Cant have my christmas present

I brought a mobcil tablet from edgars on the 16th of December and the thing was but under the christmas tree until the 25th of December when I opened the tablet and wanted to use it the tablet didn't come on I charged it and still wouldn't charge I went in to the edgars near to me store code 1250 and told them my story the lady behind the counter was rude and didn't even have a name badge on. I can't understand if you have received the item as a gift and you haven't opened the gift until Christmas day and all you want is it to be exchanged and you dont get help
