No Proper Feedback - Delivery None Existent

Ordered items from kalahari about 2 weeks back promised delivery by 23rd December waited patiently and then received an email from them stating "As mentioned before" - This is what as mentioned before I never received any calls or email before this informing me of late delivery. And now another email received today saying delivery for 3rd Jan, I understand that there is a problem from the supplier but do not tell me at the last minute!!!
