Voltaren injection is not "by law" illegal

Shops, Products, Services

So yesterday afternoon shortly before 5pm we advanced to the grey haired elderly pharmacist situated at the back of the Northgate branch requesting if he would please administer a Voltaren injection to my 22 year old son. He looks at me and replies "By law, that is illegal". I dont where i got the strength from but i had to restrain myself. In the choicest of my vocabularly I indicated that there is no law as such and if indeed by chance he were correct we are sitting with a big problem on our hands as he does receive them from the Fourways branch. He indicated that that could not be so as he is telling me it is illegal. Like really. No please man. Get your facts in order. Fourways do do it and more due to time constraints we ended up going to the Douglasdale pharmacy, we walked, waited for the sister a few seconds and she gave my son the injection right away. Is she devious? Is it illegal? Should we call the police on her or Samantha (I think) at Fourways who two weeks ago gave him the same injection? Your choice, you tell me please but whatever you do adjust this pharmacists attitude as it really stinks and he clearly does not know SA law and our rights as citizens.
