Additional Costs not explained

I had to go and see a doctor at the Carlswald Medicross on 29th April 2013. The reception was pleasant as was the doctor. I was told I had sinu bronchitis and the doctor asked if I would like a cortisone injection. I did say yes and I was given one injection. My complaint results from this injection - I have had many in the past and the cost was always around R60 -R70 so when I saw on my claim sent to me by my medical aid I was shocked to see that the cost was R203. As I am in my self payment gap - I will have to pay this amount myself and had certainly not budgeted for this high amount. I would really have appreciated it if the doctor had told me that she was going to give me a large cortisone injection (3 ml) and that it would cost more than the normal injection. I will pay this amount but I am certainly not happy. I will definitely NOT be using this Medicross ever again as I have now also heard from 2 other friends that they have also received very high bills for the same type of hidden unexplained costs.
