Efuse to exchnge or refund

I went to Sportcene in town Albertina sisulu&Eloff to exchange a damage good (short) only to find out that Zolile and Nomcebo won't allow me to exchange because its gonna be a loss for their store so I have to go back to where I bought. I asked for store managers number called (Mpho) they gave me and I tried calling her she didn't pick up the phone. I also asked for Area managers email address they didn't have so my question is"Must it be my loss as a customer? the service they gave was not good at all I had the slip the terms and conditions at the back is saying the different story to what they said to me. I had to wait for like 20minutes for them to attend me just because they thought I was going with the lady that they were busy with I mean like really did they ask me? NO. Am not happy at all
