Failure to Deliver on Time/Waiting for Refund

On Wednesday, the 11th December 2013, I went into Russells Lenasia and purchased a Kitchen Unit set for over R11 000.00. I requested delivery on Friday and they said that they could only do Saturday. I paid a ridiculous amount of money for delivery; only for the manager of the branch to avoid my calls the entire day on Saturday. I called again at 15:00 just before the branch closed and he put that phone down in my ear and when I tried calling back; no one had the decency of answering the phones.
On Monday, with still no delivery, I went into Russells and cancelled the purchase. On Monday night at around 19:30, a truck arrives with my delivery. The driver not even knowing that it was supposed to be here on Saturday. There last minute attempt to salvage the sale.
I then went in today to find out about my refund and the rude manager now says that I must wait 7 working days for my money. I paid for the units in CASH and I demand a CASH refund or an immediate EFT.
Why must Russells benefit from the interest in my money when they clearly cannot deliver on what consumers need. Then to top it all off; I am given attitude from people who are supposed to be caring about their customers.
