Damage goods, and no one willing to assists

I have bought 2 candyfloss machines about three weeks ago at Clicks, Kalahari Mall in Upington, one was a prersent and one for myself, mine works wonderfully, but the one i bought as a present was arapped and when my mom opened it last night the see through rim is compltley broken into two pieces, hence the machine cannot be used, i still have the slip, i phoned Clickes thsi morning, 6 times and everytime they tell me to wait for someone in the office and after 2-3 minutes the phone gets hanged up, this i feel is unprofessional service and i would like someine from the store to contact me so i can bring the machine in with the slip and get a new one, I did not pay so much money for broken equipment, you should check the boxes BEFORE selling them.
