Approximately 2 months ago my surround sound that I purchased from Makro had a problem and I sent it in for repair, unfortunately, as life happens it was a month out of warranty and I am now responsible to pay for the repair (Which is fine) I dropped it off, got a call a few days latr stating it will cost /-R800. I gave the go ahead for the repair and the wait starts. I have had missed calls from the Makro on two occasions and when returning these calls, nobody knows who or why they called. I now have a bit of time off and I decide to call Makro to find out if and when the device is ready... pushed from pillar to post it turns out i needed to pay a deposit for the repair (this I am unawares of) and it is sitting with the supplier. eventually I get through to a superior staff member who tells me he will call me when it suits him as he is entitled to a lunch break (Which i understand) there are no Managers on duty at the store, and the taff put me through to a senior repair person whom has a cordless phone but cant assist me as lunch is more important. I am extremely frustrated. SERVICE IS PATHETIC AT MAKRO STRUBENSVALLEY.
