Makro refuses to honour warranty - ref. 2141787

On 15-04-2011 I purchased from Makro - Centurion a laptop Samsung R730.
The shelf tag on display was showing "24 Months carry in warranty" and I have copy of it. The laptop broke and I submitted it for repair on 9-04-2013. After a few phone queries about the delay in the repair of the product I submitted a complaint on Makro's web site on 21 May.
On 24 May I was contacted over the phone by Grace from Makro-Centurion. I explained to her the above and emailed to her the invoice and copy of the shelf tag. She sent me an e-mail stating that Makro's supplier deems 1 year warranty for the product, so they refused to repair it. I asked Grace if Makro is going to honour the warranty. She told me today that Makro will not honour the warranty neither.
I look at the shelf tag as a contract. I never expected from Makro such disrespect of their obligations.
