I went to Game festival mall on Sunday to buy a pendant. I paid with my FNB cheque card as no-one carries cash anymore. I took it to another store to have engraving done and when I opened it, the stone had fallen out. I took it back to Game and asked for a refund. The lady advised that she must refund back to my card as it was a credit card. I took out my card and proved to her it was not a credit card, but a cheque card, she still insisted to refund my card. I agreed and asked when it would be done and she said within 48 hours. I was not very happy, but I agreed to it. Yesterday I phoned the store 5 times where they answer and then put down before I can speak. Eventually I spoke to the manager and he said he would look into it. I waited and after not getting feedback I phoned again and he said his admin manager should have phoned me already. I sent an email and the admin manager responded that it is 48 hours from Monday and that I should have my money today. I still do not have my money back and its Wednesday. When I paid, my bank account was immediately debited, why must I wait so long for my money to be refunded? If it was a credit card, I could understand.
