Apple South Africa
Return of goods Refund

Electronics and household app.

On the 23rd Dec late in the evening I went to I Store in Sandton City and purchased an I pad mini for a child for school purposes using my cheque card, I even purchased additional warranty for it to cover damage and other accessories. I went home only to find that one had already been bought for him, therefore I had no reason to keep the one I had bought. So the next day I went to return it I was told I needed a credit card in order to be refunded which I found to be bizarre since I had bought the goods using the cheque card, since I don't have a credit card I was told I need to find someone with a credit card in order to get a refund, I enquired what other options I had to get my money back, that information I was told that they finance dept was closed and that I would need a letter from my bank, proof of residence a copy of my ID and that the refund will take long it can only happen in the new year, I ended up not being assisted and basically sent to go look for someone else's credit card for my refund. I need your help to get a quick resolution to this I find it very strange that they operate they way they do. All I need is my refund back in my cheque account. HELP!!!
