I completely understand that a company needs to have policies and procedures in place. I myslef own a retail store and have the same. However sometimes the rules in my store get bent to satisfy a customers needs. This is NOT the case with Midas.

I spent nearly R1000 in goods at there store and 1 of the items was a set of 4 castor wheels I needed for a project. I did not need these wheels afterall and decided to return the goods in the original condition and packaging they came in, not for a refund but to rather purchase more items that I need.

The return policy printed on their receipt is longer than the receipt itself, stating everything that the goods may not be when returned such as disassembled, altered, installed, affixed, joined or defective. There is no listing of them having to be in the perfectly, untouched condition I returned my goods in. The reason they refuse a refund is due to the fact that I'm past the 10 days return period.

This all from a so called megastore. They've grown too big for their own good and forget about people like myself that have helped them grow through the years.
