No refung on damaged goods - shocking service

I bought shoes from Jet on 22 Oct 2013. I have worn them about 5 times and the soles have broken. I went to the store today to return them, and was told it is past 30 days so tough, they won't refund them. So I phoned the Customer Care line from the store and got fed the same line. Absolutely no help with how to deal with defective products. And by their 30 day policy, what they are saying is their products are only meant to last 30 days, and if they break after that you have just wasted your money on terrible quality products. I have looked at the returns policy on the back of my slip, which states that you will only receive a refund on products that are returned in their original condition, meaning that if it breaks within the 30 days you still can't return it. I am horrified at the quality of their products, and also how they handle their customers just throwing the 30 days at me. I will never shop at Jet again!!
