I bought a pair of jeans from Zara on 30 Oct 2013 which did not fit when I tried it on at home. I embarked on a month long business trip the same day and on my return was back to return the jeans on Mon, 02 Dec 2013 with slips and swing tags in tact. I was attended to by a very rude supervisor who told me that it was 2 days over the 30 day return policy and was not willing to even listen to the fact that I could prove that was out of the country for the time and point blank refused to exchange/ return the item. This jeans is still in stock on the shop floor. I am now stuck with a R700 pair of jeans with no use. To Zara- there are customers out there who are in the midst of their lives and these things do happen unfortunately which i think you need to have some flexibility on based on the circumstances. I have been a loyal customer of ZARA for the last 10 years due to my extensive international travel and I will certainly not be shopping in the Zara RSA stores any more. You have lost store earning potential of at least R2000 per month over one incident of R700 and do not forget about all the other business you will lose when i tell others- not very business savvy are you???
