Zara
Not allowed to purchase an item!!!

I have been shopping at Zara stores around the world for years, but have never experienced what I experienced today! I walked into the store at the V&A in search of a pair of white jeans that I had recently seen in the UK, I found the jeans that I was looking for (however they had dirt marks all over them) and the store assistant said she had another style that she could get from the stock room and would bring them to me in the fitting room. Once I had tried both pairs on, I preferred the pair that she had brought me from the stock room, I then proceeded to pay for them and once I was at the till I was told that I cannot purchase them because they are last season's stock! I was appalled! How can you offer someone something that they cannot buy? I am very upset about this, and it just shows that Cape Town cannot handle a store like Zara that is world renowned! You would never receive that kind of service in London or New York - Zara Cape Town will not be seeing me for a while! I would rather fly to another country to shop there!
