ZARA Sandton City treats customers like Criminals

I visited ZARA Sandton City yesterday, 04 October and found the service bad and staff to be extremely unhelpful.

A friend of mine bought my daughter a pair of shorts and top from ZARA and a pair of jeans and a t-shirt for my son as well over the weekend. When my 7- year old opened her gift, she misplaced the gift receipt.

I brought all the garments for returning at ZARA but did not have my daughter's gift receipt (I had my son's gift receipt). I took a pair of blue short and a white top to the same value for exchanging for my daughter.

The staff out right refused to return the garments. This was new stock as the products are still on shelves, the garments had all their receipts and were still in their boxes. I tried to explain to the staff that they would go to waste but they were not interested. I have been shopping at Sandton City for 13 years, and ZARA is the first to have been so adamant not to return an unworn, brand new garment with receipts.

I do understand that crime is high in this country, but ZARA cannot treat all your customers like criminals (they also do not allow trolleys into the store despite there being ample room to move around)
