3rd party agreement after transaction

I had to enter into agreement with a 3rd party after buying an e-book. The book would not be released without the agreement. my previous transaction with them did not require this and they do not notify you regarding this, prior to the transaction.
they do not understand or take the provisions of the South African consumer protection act seriously.
