CLUB FEE NOT CANCELLED ON AGREEMENT

On 24/08/2013 I signed my agreement at Beares Gezina with African Bank. After carefully reading the agreement at home, I found that the sales consultant did NOT advise me about the Club Fee of R1104 that is optional - she just added it to my agreement. After BATTLING for weeks to get this cancelled, Beares told me please come into the branch to signed the document in order for them to cancel the Club Fee. I went in on a Saturday prior to my first debit order date. They confirmed that this matter will be resolved. When African Bank called me ask if I was happy with the delivery, I said yes BUT the club fee issue must be resolved before my first debit order date otherwise I will stop the order on my bank. BOTH Beares and African Bank confirmed that the Club Fee was cancelled and that a new/amended agreement will be emailed to me. I am still waiting. I had a look at my credit profile and African Bank had my opening balance with the Club Fee reflecting. I tried calling African Bank, Beares no one answer. I resorted to emailing African Bank, because Beares have been offline since forever. I haven't had any feedback from AB or Bears and warned them that I will log a complaint.
