I went to Look and Listen on 9 August 2013 to enquire on a CD soundtrack. Eugene showed me on the computer that it was R80 and that he can order it for me. He would need 50% deposit, but I paid the full R80. He advised that it could take up to 4 months. I phoned twice to enquire on the progress, and they kept saying they will phone me. On my third call, Michelle asked if head office had phoned me? I said no - why would they? She then told me that they were supposed to phone me to advise that the amount for the CD was R320... NO ONE told me that there may be another price involved, they just took my R80 and was done with it. I would assume there would be a "cost centre" to carry such costs when the staff give half-advice or incorrect info, but apparently I as the consumer must just accept that they are incompetent! Not even the managers have any "say" in matters like this, as I was told she (Nafesa) would find out if they can help me, but then when I PHONED again, said they can't help me, they will refund me.
